Dr. Alyssa Zucker was awarded the UF Division of Student Life Mort Wolfson Award. This award is given annually to a UF faculty member who exemplifies the values that Professor Wolfson modeled: Commitment and service to students and the University of Florida. Dr. Zucker is being recognized for her efforts as the faculty “stakeholder and co-champion” of the launch of the Lavender Living Learning Community in fall 2021.

Dr. Anita Anantharam and Dr. Hina Shaikh received UF Humanities Scholarship Enhancement Fund awards.

Dr. Hina Shaikh will participate in the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Curriculum Design Project at the National Humanities Center. As part of this project, Dr. Shaikh will collaborate with faculty members from fifteen colleges and universities to create and implement critical AI curricula.

Dr. Hilary Coulson and her student, Katherine Lynch, were selected for an Emerging Scholar Student-Faculty Research Award (See Experiential Learning Spotlight in this newsletter).
