We honor bell hooks, her vision, her work, and her love. Bell hooks generated transformative knowledge and analysis through her activism, public engagements, and writing, including books like Ain’t I A Woman? Black Women and Feminism, All About Love: New Visions, Feminism is for Everybody: Passionate Politics, and Writ-ing Beyond Race: Living Theory and Practice. She died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her home in Berea, Kentucky at the age of 69. We feel this heavy loss with much gratitude to bell hooks for the inspiration and the unwavering feminist compass that she provides.
