Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies

As a sub organization under the Black Student Union, we focus on establishing a cultural of diversity within a professional setting. As a leadership development program, we strive to implement important skills such as time management, effective speaking skills, how to use social media properly, and professional dress to better prepare the students to be more successful in their college careers and the professional world. We work very closely with the Black Student Union and promote the integration of other minority groups on campus whether that be attending their events or helping facilitate them.
