Congratulations to department chair Dr. Bonnie Moradi for winning the 2025 Carolyn Wood Sherif Award from the American Psychological Association Society for the Psychology of Women! This award is the highest honor conferred by the division and recognizes a senior individual who has made sustained and substantial contributions in research, scholarship, mentoring, and leadership in the fields of psychology of women and gender.

Congratulations to affiliate faculty member Dr. Paola Uparela for winning numerous awards for her book Invaginaciones Coloniales: Mirada, genitalidad y (de)generación en la Modernidad temprana [Colonial Invaginations: Gaze, Genitality and (de)generation in the Early Modernity], including the Victoria Urbano Critical Monograph Award and the LASA Visual Culture Studies Book Prize.
