#HearMeToo Lecture: Violence Against Women in a Human Rights Framework

November 25th marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the beginning of 16 days of activism against Gender-Based Violence. For 2018, the United Nations has designated the theme #HearMeToo.

Please join the UF Center for Gender, Sexualities and Women’s Studies Research in our celebration of IDEVAW, at a public lecture on December 10th at 3:30 in Ustler Hall, by Dr. Maddy Coy, entitled, “Violence Against Women in a Human Rights Framework.” A reception will follow. This event is free and open to the public. This event is hosted by the Center for Gender, Sexualities, and Women’s Studies Research and is co-sponsored by the Women’s Student Association.
