Women’s Studies at the University of Florida is celebrating its 40th Anniversary.

Join us for a special event:

FORTY YEARS OF TRANSFORMATIONS

 

March 17, 2017, 1-7 pm, Ustler Hall on the UF campus

The celebration will include:

  • 1:00 – 2:30: Panel on the history of Gender, Sexualities, and Women’s Studies at UF, including our esteemed colleagues and founders Dr. Mildred Hill-Lubin, Dr. Angel Kwolek-Folland, Dr. Phyllis Meek, Dr. Jaquie Resnick, Dr. Sandra Russo, and Dr. Connie Shehan, moderated by Dr. Judith W. Page
  • 2:45 – 4:15: Panel of Center alums discussing their education at UF and in women’s studies and sharing their inspiring personal and professional journeys after graduation
  • 4:30 – 6:00: Keynote Address by Dean Laura A. Rosenbury, UF’s Levin College of Law on the power of women’s studies training for leadership and organizational transformation

A reception will follow.
