Beyond Insecure: cultivating Academic Self Determination Among Black Women and Femmes at UF

Resistance. Empowerment. Surviving. Thriving.

This workshop, which will be held on Saturday, December 1st, beginning at 10:30am in Ustler Hall, is an intervention in the face of the systemic and interpersonal attacks on the self-efficacy of Black women and femmes in higher education. By centering the voices and experiences of Black feminist, queer Clack scholars and those who are most vulnerable in the academy, this education and experiential session will affirm the strengths and resilience of Black women and fesses at UF.
